The Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada are currently undertaking an evaluation of the Interagency Advisory Panel and Secretariat on Research Ethics. Part of this evaluation involves an assessment of whether the information in the On-line Introductory Tutorial for the TCPS is useful and how it is applied in research activities. External consultants from Natalie Kishchuk Research and Evaluation inc. and Circum Network inc. have been mandated to conduct this evaluation. To assess how useful the Tutorial is, they will be contacting tutorial takers two months after they have completed the tutorial for a short (10 minutes) e-mail survey.

We invite you to take part in this survey. To do so, click on the link below and you will be directed to the Circum Network inc secure site, where you will be asked to provide your contact information for the survey two months from now. Your e-mail will be stored ONLY for that purpose and will be confidential for the sole use by the external consultants. You can change your mind about participating in the survey in two months, when you are contacted again. Please be assured that neither your contact information nor your survey responses (opinions about the tutorial) will be linked to your TCPS tutorial activity or shared with anyone else, and that all your responses will be completely confidential.
